The MISEL project ((Multi-Spectral Intelligent Vision System with Embedded Low-Power Computing)) is funded by European Union under a framework fo HORIZON 2020 program. Institute of Applied Computer Science is a partner in a consortium, led by VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland Ltd, together with research groups from Germany (AMO GmbH, Bergische Universität Wuppertal, Fraunhofer Center for Applied Nanotechnology), Spain (Universidade de Santiago de Compostela), France (Laboratoire national de métrologie et d’Essais),Sweden (Lund University) and Finland (Kovilta).The goal of the Institute's research team is to develop computational architecture of 'Cortex Processor', which will be a neuromporphic unit for high-level analysis of data acquired by system's multi-spectral event sensor.
